The converter looks for tables and places detected rows and columns into worksheet cells. When it does not detect a table on a page, selectable PDF text is written one line per spreadsheet row. Extraction is best-effort; inspect row and column alignment before using the workbook for calculations.

Scanned PDFs and limitations

This PDF-to-Excel converter does not perform OCR. Scanned image-only pages without extractable text receive a note in the worksheet; use OCR first if those pages contain data you need. Password-protected PDFs are not supported. The limit is 200 pages per file.
